the men's Curling win was better, I'd just wished it'd been possible for both us and The Pants to win gold.

Justin, I'd like to remind you that Crosby had been invisible for the third consecutive game until Miller let in that soft goal. Great job by the youngsters Toews and Doughty. Getzlaf and Nash impressed way more than Crosby. Thornton's production was what we would expect in big games: terrible. Heatley's production was what we would expect in international games: great; it's funny that Thornton hardly got any assists on his line. Seabrook is now truly the pride of my hometown.

As for curling, Johnny Mo' ain't gonna lose to no pyjama-wearing sissies.

[sarcasm]I would also like to congratulate the Canadian women's hockey team for being such wonderful role models for the girls across the country who want to be just like them.[/sarcasm]

Way to kill the party in here Steve.

Although I agree with your assessment of the Men's team. Toews and Doughty were in-fucking-credible as I expected them to be, and Getzlaf and Nash did a fan-freaking-tastic job.

Because only men are allowed to drink or smoke cigars after a major sports victory, or ever.[/sarcasm]

I am glad Canada won the men's hockey game for an additional reason: a loss would have led to the riotous burnination of downtown Van.

As an ethics instructor I officially give a pass to all Canadian underage drinkers who meet all of the following 3 conditions: a) They will be of age within a month or two, b) They would be of age in their home province, & c) They won a freakin' Olympic Gold medal within the last 48 hours.   Cheesy

I am glad I could walk to work today.  Something tells me the Canada Line going south might be a wee bit busy.

Don't even get me started on that hypocritical bs.

I think they should have just given Miller all the silver medals lol he did a dang good job.

Just because Miller let in a weak goal does not change the fact that Crosby still get the game winning goal and deserves credit for that.

I said go Crosby because he got the game winning goal for that game, what is wrong with that? Did I ever mention that he is the best player in the whole Olympic?

I think crosby's play was underrated.  He played solidly through out the tournament, and most shifts he would draw top opposing defensive pairs on to the ice, allowing Canada's other lines to go to work.
